The Sharper Edge Landscaping

Sharper Edge Landscaping was founded in November of 1999 as a lawn maintenance and snow removal company for one large apartment complex developer. Two people and two trucks were all that we had and needed at the time. In the year 2000, landscape installation was added to the company by purchasing equipment from a company who wanted to outsource their landscaping, and in our first year, we had built a $400,000 company.

To create a well rounded landscape company, the top hardscape designer/installer was brought onto the Sharper Edge Team in 2003. We also added holiday light installation in the winter along with advancing our installation crews by hydroseeding new lawns to achieve faster germination and a higher quality lawn.

Because of the quality of our work and customer service, Sharper Edge experienced double digit growth up to 2005. To continue our growth and variety of service, in 2006 concrete curbing was added to the list of services. Sharper Edge has grown to a $3,000,000 company with 48 employees. We have reached these levels of achievement for a few reasons: the quality of our design and the finished product.
